2019 Georgia’s Rome Photo & Video Contest

Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism is pleased to announce a call for entries for the annual Georgia’s Rome Photo & Video Contest. Locals and visitors are challenged to explore area attractions and locations to creatively capture Georgia’s Rome.   Photographs and videos should highlight a variety of area locations and experiences that visually illustrate the beauty of Rome. The deadline for entries is April 7, 2019.

Photos selected will go on exhibition at the Farrell’s Frame & Design gallery during National Travel & Tourism Week. The exhibition will run from May 11 – 25. Videos selected will be highlighted and posted on digital platforms.

Over 120 entries were submitted in last year’s contest. Twenty-four photographs were selected for the Georgia’s Rome Photo Exhibition.  View 2018 Photographs 


A reception for selected artists will be held on Saturday, May 11, 4 -7 p.m., at the gallery inside Farrell’s Frame and Design.

The reception will include recognition of the photographers whose work was selected for the exhibition. The public is invited to attend; light refreshments will be served.


Farrell’s Frame & Design is located in the heart of the Cotton Block in Downtown Rome at 116 Broad St, Rome, GA 30161. The gallery is open to the public Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Artist have the option to sell their work displayed at the exhibition; artists receive 100% of the total sale. Interested parties should contact the artist directly to handle purchase agreements. Contact information for each artist will be provided at the exhibition.
