About Us

The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism and the Rome-Floyd Welcome Center are located on Jackson Hill.

The welcome center is housed in a  train station originally known as Reeves Station and formerly located in Gordon County. The 1901 building was moved to Rome and adapted for use as offices and the Rome-Floyd Welcome Center.

The Downtown Welcome Center was added in 2015 and is located adjacent to the Town Green in the same building that houses the Rome Area History Museum.
