Etowah Park in Rome has amenities for all those that love sports, especially skateboarding. The Skate Center is an inline hockey facility and a free-style skateboarding and in-line skating park. Amenities include a full size hockey floor, terrain skating area and a half pipe. Don’t forget to check out Skate Life on Broad Street to customize or fine tune your board.
River Ratz Tubing & Kayak, LLC.
Come and enjoy a peaceful float in a river tube or an energetic workout paddling down the Etowah River in a kayak. River Ratz even includes a shuttle in the equipment rental fee.

Providing an affordable memory-building family adventure, Rocky Mountain Recreation Area has something for everyone who wants to be immersed in nature. It’s a great place to get away and relax.
Town Green
Perfect for the whole family! Kids and kids at heart will enjoy cooling off in the splash pad and fountain during the warm weather months. History buffs will enjoy the moving tribute to the rivers through stone historic markers.
Ridge Ferry Park and Playground
Ridge Ferry is Rome’s most popular park and features scenic strolls along the river as well as a playground and tons of space for family activities. The park also features two sand volleyball courts, wetlands demonstration area, rowing/ storage facility, and an ADA accessible treehouse.
Cave Spring’s Rolater Park
Where do we even start? Rolater Park has something for everyone. Enjoy a dip in the state-shaped Rolater Lake or enjoy a family-friendly tour of Cave Spring’s namesake cave. Even see the Cherokee cabin that was discovered in recent years!
