Downtown Dining District – Open Container

Downtown Rome offers Open Container in their dining district for the public to enjoy responsibly.

Days & Times Open Container is Permitted
   – Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
– 11 am to 11 pm

• Open container drinks will be allowed in public area including all sidewalks, crosswalks, green spaces, & bridges within the designated areas on the above maps.
• Drinks are not permitted in parking decks and parking lots.
• Drinks must be purchased from a downtown business. All restaurants and bars will serve to-go adult beverages in approved to-go cups. No alternative containers will be allowed.
