Listed as a National Trail of Tears site, the Cherokee Van Cabin stands at its original location on the Cave Spring square. Built in 1810, it is the oldest verifiable building in Cave Spring. The cabin was recently restored and is open daily to visitors.
Stop by the Cave Spring Welcome Center to see the model used to help in restoration efforts along with other Cherokee artifacts from the area.
