April 15- 7 Hills Rubicon Jeep Festival

The 7 Hills Rubicon Jeep Festival is a fundraiser hosted by the Floyd County Police Department benefitting their Santa Bike Patrol program. This program purchases bicycles for local children around the holidays. The event will feature many vendors, door prizes, rides, and lots of fun! Come on out and support this great cause!

May 5-14- Sister Act

The Historic DeSoto Theatre presents Sister Act to close out their Mainstage season. Sister Act is a feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film. When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the cops are sure she won’t be found: a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, Sister Act is reason to REJOICE!

May 6- Cave Spring Bacon Fest and Car Show

Come out to Rolater Park and enjoy all types of homemade bacon dishes to “taste”, a fun car show, and wonderful vendors! Admission will be $5.

May 6- RoFlo Fest

Formerly artsfest, RoFlo Fest celebrates the best of Rome and Floyd County’s arts and culture! This vibrant event will include vendors, local musicians, and nonprofits hosting fun kid-friendly activities. Downtown retailers will host sidewalk sales throughout the day.
