Guests will board our Roman Chariots for a guided tour through Rome’s history.  Each downtown tour is unique where groups are led through Rome’s historic downtown to discover its history, it’s beauty and it’s secrets. This year, each monthly tour will focus on a specific section of Downtown Rome to discover Rome’s storied past. Tours are held the first Saturday of every month April 6-September 7

June 1 – 300 Block

July 6 – 400 Block

August 3 – 500 Block

September 7 – 6th Ave to 8th Ave

Dates: Public Tours are offered the first Saturday of the month, April – September.

Location: Departs from the Downtown Welcome Center at 300 West 1st Street, adjacent to the Town Green. Ride on the Roman Chariots for the guided tour. There is some walking; wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Time: Tours last about 90 minutes. Meet at 9:45 a.m., tours departs at 10 a.m. (Limit 15 people per tour)

Cost: $10/Adults, $5/Children 11 & Under (Note: Due to the nature of this walking tour, all children should be closely supervised.)

Tickets: Purchase online or in-person at the Last Stop Gift Shop & Georgia’s Rome Visitor Center.

Cancellations: In the case of inclement weather, tours will be cancelled and ticket holders will be contacted by email.
