Rome Area Writers

“Writers helping writers.”

Rome Area Writers meets the second Thursday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rome/Floyd County Library. All our meetings are open to the public. Enjoy the fellowship of many writers who are working actively towards publishing.

Membership is $25. Members may take advantage of workshops, group readings, guest speakers, and two active critique groups. The writers group also works with the greater Rome artistic community to promote and foster the arts.

Every year the organization publishes the Lavender Mountain Anthology, which highlights the work of RAW members.
