The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism will host the annual Where Romans Rest: Myrtle Hill Cemetery Tours on Sunday, October 9, Guided tours depart at 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm from Veterans Plaza. Every year, the tour highlights a new set of notable Romans allowing visitors to learn more about the permanent residents of the cemetery. The 2022 tour will focus on “Murder, Mystery and Mayhem” involving some of Myrtle Hill’s most notorious residents.
Date: October 9, 2022
Location: Departs from the Main Gate on Myrtle Street. Wear comfortable shoes, clothing and bring water.
Parking: Park along Myrtle Street or at the Kingfisher Trailhead
Time: Tours last about 90 minutes.
