Berry College Gate of Opportunity Drive

The breathtaking Gate of Opportunity canopy drive at Berry College once served as the original entrance to the college. It is easily accessible from the main campus drive and offers one of the best scenes year-round!

There are stories from past students of the time where some would arrive with $5 in hand and a readiness to learn. With that $5, they could gain admission and part of tuition at Berry College in the early days, with the promise to work to pay off the rest of tuition. To this day, the Gate of Opportunity carries on the tradition of allowing students to gain a quality education through hard work.
