Liberty Day Celebration June 28 – Cave Spring, GA The festivities take place in Downtown Cave Spring and begin at 8am with the Farmers’ Market in Downtown Cave Spring and continue throughout the day with FREE inflatables, Downtown Karaoke, Vendors, Sip and Stroll, Liberty Day Pageants, Live Music and fireworks at dark.
Independence Day Festival – June 28 – Lindale, GA
Celebrate Independence Day with Lindale featuring good food, arts and crafts, a car show, and “homegrown connections“. The 11th annual Lindale Independence Day celebration is set for Saturday, June 28, and everyone’s invited to participate. Restoration Lindale sponsors the festival, which includes a parade and car show. Car Show will feature displays from the Savoy Automobile Museum. Live music by local band, BB’s. Events will run from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. and be held at Wolfe Park in Lindale.
The iconic Annual Cave Spring Fourth of July Parade will take place in Downtown Cave Spring at 9 a.m. Enjoy this fun, old-fashioned tradition including wagons, tractors, four-wheelers, bikes, golf carts, antique cars, horses and more! Everyone is welcome! The best place to watch the parade is downtown on the Square and along Alabama Street.
Rome’s Fireworks Extravaganza – July 4 – Ridge Ferry Park – Rome, GA
This patriotic party in the park begins in the afternoon will have food trucks, inflatables for kids ($5 wristband), face painting, games and live music featuring the Kevin Allen Band. One of the largest fireworks shows in Georgia will be shot from Jackson Hill to begin about 9:30 p.m; featuring more thank 1,500 fireworks. Ridge Ferry Park closes at Noon for set-up. Park opens to the public at 4 p.m. Parking costs $5 per vehicle. Rome Radio Partners will once again be broadcasting a simulcast on Q102 at 102.3 FM featuring patriotic music to go along with the display. Large coolers, pets, drones and sparklers are not allowed in the park.
