The Rink at Ridge Ferry ParkRink at Ridge Ferry Park Ice Skating – Nov  19 – Jan 19
Glide into holiday magic and bundle up for outdoor ice skating at under twinkling lights at our covered outdoor rink! Your admission is good all day and includes ice skate rental, plus they offer skating aids for the youngsters! Concessions will be available on-site to grab some holiday treats. Get daily hours and prices

Be sure to visit the park on Saturday, December 7 for a Candy Cane hunt to be held at Noon in addition to Playtime with Santa from 2-4 p.m.


Silver Creek Christmas Tree Farm

Christmas Tree Farm – Silver Creek Farm – Opens Saturday before Thanksgiving – Nov 23
Start (or continue!) a holiday tradition by finding your perfect Christmas tree at Silver Creek Tree Farm! Wander through rows of fresh evergreens and enjoy the magic of the season with friends and family. This beautiful tree farm also offers some beautiful selfie spots to enjoy after purchasing your tree!

The Berry Choirs will present an evening filled with holiday favorites at the Bell Recital Hall. This festive concert will feature performances by the Treble Choir, the Tenor-Bass Choir and student a cappella groups.

The Winter Wonderland at AdventHealth Stadium is all new this year and includes a snow experience, inflatable slides, a bouncy house snowman, a toboggan tunnel, nightly movies, and more.

Enjoy the season with spectacular holiday light experiences for the whole family! This year offering a new set-up that includes holiday music, all new light displays, animated displays and a 300 foot drive through tunnel.

It’s A Wonderful Life – Nov 30 FREE
This free showing of the classic film “It’s a Wonderful Life” is a fun family event hosted by Habitat for Humanity at the historic Rome City Auditorium. They will sell concessions. Help them celebrate their 40th year!

The sounds of the season performed by strings! The Rome Symphony String Orchestra will play your Christmas favorites, both modern and classical. With sing-a-longs and a visit from Santa Claus, this Holiday concert is perfect for the entire family!


Christmas Parade

Rome Christmas Parade – Dec 3, 7 PM FREE
A Rome tradition and a wonderful kick-off to our holiday season, the Rome Christmas Parade is one of the oldest and largest parades in Northwest Georgia! The parade route begins on Broad Street at 1st Avenue and ends at 6th Avenue in front of City Hall where Santa lights the City Christmas Tree as he passes by.

 


Holiday Evening at the Museum,Chieftains Museum – Dec 6-7
Tour historic Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home by candlelight and decorated for the holidays in 19th century Moravian fashion. Live music, cider, holiday and Moravian cookies add to the festivities.

Season’s Screenings – Rome Holiday Movie Marathon– Dec 7 FREE
The City of Rome invites you and your holiday crew for a totally FREE movie marathon of your festive favorites! Join us for Season’s Screenings where we’ll be showing classic holiday movies all day long. Dress as your favorite holiday movie character, or festive holiday attire, because there are door prizes up for grabs at every screening for everyone who dresses festively! Concessions will be for sale and benefit ARF – Animal Rescue Foundation.

This annual arts and crafts festival offers holiday shopping and treats from local artisans. The Christmas Parade is held on Saturday evening in downtown Cave Spring.
