Don’t miss out on these fun fall events happening in Georgia’s Rome!


Coosa Valley Fair- Oct 1-5

Come celebrate the Coosa Valley Fair’s 75th year with the best food, rides and shows!


Going Caching- Oct 2-6

Going Caching 2024 – the most highly themed (and 3rd largest!) geocaching Mega-Event in North America. This is the last year and it will be unforgettable!


Haunted House

Well this one is not technically a festival and it’s not outdoors, but nothing says October like a good haunted house!!! The Rome Shriners is hosting the Circus of Horrors Haunted House every Friday and Saturday night in October and Halloween night! Encounter terrifying clowns, zombies, and ghouls lurking in every shadow. If you’re brave enough, take your last ride into the unknown…but be warned, not everyone returns!


Roman Holiday Acoustics Cruise with Phil Helton & Friends- Oct 6

Enjoy the autumn weather with a river cruise on the Sulzbacher Roman Holiday riverboat. This laid back trip down the Coosa River will include live music from Phil Helton and Friends. This is a leisurely cruise, you are welcome to bring your own cooler, snacks and drinks. The Roman Holiday departs from the Heritage Park boat dock promptly at 2:00 pm and returns at 4:00 pm.


Fiddlin’ Fest- Oct 12

The 2024 Fiddlin’ Fest is a FREE bluegrass street festival in Downtown Rome featuring the classical sounds of bluegrass music on two live music stages along with activities along every block of the festival.


Cave Spring Pickle Festival- Oct 12-13

Fall festival in beautiful Cave Spring in Rolater Park. The festival features live music, quilt show, pickle tasting, costume contest and vendors.


YMCA Boofest- Oct 18

BOOFEST AT THE YMCA IS A FAMILY EVENT FEATURING: A Trick or Treat Village, Monster Mash Family Dance, Bounce Houses, Climbing Wall, Face Painting, Games and Train Rides!


Haunted on Broad Trolley Tours- Multiple Dates and Times

Take a trolley ride back in time for a spine-tingling look into Rome’s Haunted Past.


Roman Holiday Haunted River Tours- Oct 20

Climb on board the Roman Holiday for a spine-tingling look into Rome’s haunted nautical past.


Schnauzerfest Rome- Oct 25-27

As we celebrate our 5th Anniversary and will attempt to make the Guinness World Record of “Most dogs in a walk by a single breed”! The festival will also have various events such as Schnauzer Agility Contest, Fast Cat Racing, Best in Show, and Schnauzer Idol Singing Competition. There will also be over 50 Vendors, Schnauzer Rescues and live demonstrations on Schnauzer grooming.
