SPRING into Georgia’s Rome

The weather is warming up, which means Spring is upon us! This is one of our favorite times of the year, because there is so much to see and do! Here are a few ways you can SPRING into Georgia’s Rome this season!

S – Shop locally-made items at Georgia’s Rome Spring Art Market

Georgia’s Rome Annual Spring Art Market is Saturday, April 1st and Sunday, April 2nd! Held at the Rome Civic Center, the event will feature over 50 local artists. This is a great opportunity to shop for handmade items created in Rome and the state of Georgia. Make plans to join us from 10am-4pm on Saturday or Sunday!

P – Peek at the gardens in Georgia’s Rome Garden Trail

Rome has many beautiful gardens to see! A warm, Spring afternoon makes for the perfect time to visit these gardens. Our garden trail even features an interactive map so you don’t miss any of the lovely locations.

R – Reserve tickets for the Oak Hill & Martha Berry Museum

Oak Hill is the home of Berry College founder, Martha Berry. The Greek-Revival Style home can be toured, along with the Martha Berry Museum. Spring is the best time to visit the beautiful gardens at the home, too! Tickets and details about the tour can be found on the Berry College website.

I – Involve yourself with the History of Rome
