Rome’s most fun and festive 5K returns with all the glowing, foamy fun! The 5K begins at 6:30 p.m. with the walk beginning at approximately 6:45 p.m. Participants are encouraged to wear as much green as possible as well as decorate with lots of glowing goodies. The race’s course runs through downtown Rome and finishes on the pedestrian bridge by the Town Green. ”

Race For Freedom 5k and One Mile Walk

Please join us for the Inaugural “Run for Freedom 5K /1M Health Walk!” The race will be held Sat., April 13th at 8:00 AM and will serve to raise funds in support of Heart’s Cry Ministry. Hearts Cry Ministry is a Christ-centered, long-term residential restoration program for victims coming out of sexual abuse & trauma. The 5K is a USATF-certified course [GA21022WC] and is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Please plan to join TRED for the third annual 5K trail run and 1-mile trail walk on Saturday, April 13 at 9am at the GE Trails at Garrard Park. This unique run will benefit the GE Trails by providing funding to expand the trail system and provide maintenance to the existing trails.
