Georgia’s Rome is just 1 hour north of Atlanta and the perfect place for fall weekend fun!  

November 6 – Chili-Fest
Enjoy the fall air and fall flavors as you taste award winning chili at this cook-off competition.  Participate in the adult corn-hole competition or watch the action as teams compete to win! The fun takes place at Ridge Ferry Park this Saturday, November 6.

November 6 – Clocktower Fall Spectacular

Photographers and fall lovers are invited to capture the breathtaking views of the changing leaves and sunset colors of beautiful Georgia’s Rome from the top of the Rome Clocktower! The event is Saturday, November 6. Tickets are $10 and benefit clocktower restoration and care.

November 6 – The Broadway Bradshaws at the Historic Desoto Theatre
Broadway comes to Rome’s The Broadway Bradshaws! The matinee concert for children features Disney songs from Frozen, Beauty and the Beast and more! The evening concert adults features standards from Broadway to Hollywood, Judy Garland to Sinatra! The events are held at the Historic Desoto Theatre this Saturday, November 6.

November 6 – CoosaCon
CoosaCon is Rome’s Comic and Pop culture convention! View exhibits, cosplay contests, actors panel, magic, gamers groups and a full line-up of special guests. The fun all happens at the Thornton Center on Saturday, November 6.

November 6 & 7 – Christmas on the Coosa
Start your Christmas shopping early with Christmas on the Coosa! Over 80 vendors featuring arts, crafts, jewelry and apparel. Enjoy the fall atmosphere with fire-pits, game,  car show and kids area. Santa is even making an early appearance. The event will be held this weekend, November 6 & 7 at Heritage Park.

November 9 – Northwest GA Winds
Northwest Georgia Winds presents “Heroes Known and Unknown at the historic Rome City Auditorium. The free concert celebrates Veteran’s Day and commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; a traveling replica of the tomb will be on-site. The free concert will be held Tuesday, November 9.

November 11-14 – Rome International Film Festival
The Annual Rome International Film Festival returns for its 18th year with a long list of films alongside a star-studded guest lineup including filmmaker and actor Billy Bob Thornton. The festival runs November 11-14 with a full schedule of screenings and evening after-parties. Tickets and VIP passes are available online now at RiffGA.com

November 13 – Underground Rome Tours
Get your tickets now for Underground Rome Tours and see parts of Downtown Rome rarely see. As you explore below the surface, learn the stories that have helped shaped Rome. The tours will depart from the Rome Area History Center.

November 15 – Empty Bowls
The 19th Annual Empty Bowls event is back and benefits our Community Kitchen! Enjoy a chef prepared soup meal and bring home a handmade work of art. Tickets are $25, available at Georgia’s Rome Gift Shop (cash or check only)
