Celebrate the holidays in Georgia’s Rome with all these fun events and experiences!


Silver Creek Christmas Tree Farm

Christmas Tree Farm – Silver Creek Farm – Opens Saturday before Thanksgiving – Nov 18
Christmas Tree season officially begins! Continue a holiday tradition or start a new one by picking out a live tree together! Hours are Mon-Fri: 3PM-dark, Sat: 9AM-dark, Sun: 11AM-dark. Oh! and mark your calendar for December 9th – Santa will be visiting!


The Rink at Ridge Ferry ParkRink at Ridge Ferry Park Ice Skating – Nov  20 – Jan 15
Bundle up for outdoor ice skating at Ridge Ferry Park and enjoy some holiday fun! Concessions will be available on-site to grab some holiday treats. Get daily hours and prices

Be sure to visit the park on Saturday, December 16 for a Candy Cane hunt to be held at Noon in addition to Playtime with Santa from 2-4 p.m.

Holiday Lights of Rome – Nov 24 – Jan 16
Enjoy the season with a spectacular holiday light experiences for the whole family to enjoy. Load up the family car for a drive-thru light show at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds.


Winter Wonderland – Nov 24-Dec 30
Celebrate the holidays at AdventHealth Stadium’s first-ever Winter Wonderland! Tickets include admission and all-inclusive access to the ice-skating rink and holiday light displays on the field, as well as craft decorating stations, a snow experience, and more. The Emperors Clubhouse store is open too! Parking is $5.00 upon entry. Get tickets


earthworks potteryArt Market & Open House at Earthworks Pottery – Nov 25 & 26 FREE
Earthworks is the place in Rome for handmade pottery! Their gallery will be filled with wonderful pieces perfect for gift-giving, plus artist vendors with works for sale will also be on-site! You don’t want to miss their live pottery demonstrations and ornament painting to get you in the holiday spirit!

Holiday Light Maze – Nov 27 – Jan 16
For a fun and totally different holiday light experience, navigate the holiday light maze at Ridge Ferry Park.  While you are there, go ice skating and enjoy some holiday treats! The maze is open on the same days as ice skating (Starting Nov 27). Get details

Rome Christmas Parade – Broad Street – Nov 28, 6:30 pm FREE
The parade announces the official start of the holiday season in Georgia’s Rome. See local bands, performers and decorated floats as we celebrate the joy of the season! Grab your spot on Broad Street early, this is biggest and oldest Christmas parade in Georgia! The parade will also be broadcasted live on the Georgia’s Rome Facebook page.


Rome for the Holidays – Holiday Shopping – Downtown Rome
Get all your holiday shopping done in the festive atmosphere of Downtown Rome. This year they are offering a fun promotion for all the holiday shoppers. Enjoy the festive seasonal displays located throughout downtown for the perfect holiday selfies!

 


A Kenny & Dolly Christmas Tribute – Dec 1
Enjoy an evening of true nostalgia with A Tribute to Country Legends Kenny & Dolly at the Rome City Auditorium. Get tickets

 


ELF The Musical – Dec 1-10 (Fri-Sun)
