Burgers, the quintessential American favorite food. A tender beef patty between two fluffy buns and a selection of veggies and condiments to amplify the flavor. Here are just a few of our favorites in Georgia’s Rome:
Brewhouse Burger – Brewhouse
A burger like no other in town! A handmade patty topped with ham, cheese and a fried egg. Brewhouse has plenty of other burgers, but their flagship burger deserves all the love. Just looking at this photo makes me salivate.
Steakhouse Burger – Linde Marie’s Steakhouse
Topped with melted cheddar, hickory smoked bacon, caramelized onions, and tangy BBQ sauce, this burger is a remake of a timeless classic! But what sets it apart are the handmade patties and seasonings that come together.
Red Headed Stranger Burger – Harvest Moon Cafe
A certified angus patty topped with wicked pimina cheese, bacon, candied jalapenos and onion straws, is certainly an unforgettable burger at Harvest Moon Cafe. There’s a reason this dish was selected as one of the Top 100 Plates Locals Love in the 2014 Georgia Eats Guide.
The Bistro Burger – Courtyard by Marriott
Now I know what you’re thinking, why should I go to a hotel to eat? But trust me on this. The Marriott Bistro is open to the public and serves plenty of items from breakfast to dinner, as well as delicious cocktails. This tasty burger comes with gruyere, lettuce and tomato on a brioche roll with garlic aioli. The fires are also pretty good, and forget the spicy ketchup!
Jefferson Burger – Jefferson’s
Another take on the the classic BBQ burger, the Jefferson Burger features an all beef patty slathered with cheese, bacon and bbq sauce and topped with all the other burger fixings. This burger strikes the right balance in burgerdom, with your last bite guaranteed to be as delicious as the first.

Thanks for this post. Now I know where to get a great burger(after I hit Krystal’s).
When I go home to visit I always hit Krystal’s first!! Hattiesburg Miss was the first place I could find Krystal’s coming from Texas.
But I must say these burgers look great. Will have a hard time choosing.
Appreciate your posts. Always bring me home. Thanks
