 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Rome Tennis Center Seeks Referees and Umpires, Hosting Clinic

ROME, GA. — The Rome Tennis Center is hosting a referee and umpire clinic on Saturday, February 28, 8 a.m., at the Carnegie Training Room in the Carnegie building adjacent to City Hall.

Tennis referee and umpires are needed in anticipation of the new Tennis Center of Georgia and expected new tournaments.

David Araiza, the Tennis Director at Rome Tennis Center is hosting the clinic:  “This is a great opportunity for people who are retired, are looking for extra income, and have playing experience.”

To attend the clinic, participants must register online.  The umpire class is $15 and the referee class is $10.  Register online at http://www.ustageorgia.com/officials/14_clinic_classification.htm.

Upon completing the clinic, participants must pass an online test to complete certification.
