Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau Voted a SportsEvents 2015 Readers’ Choice Award Winner
ROME, GA. — Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) is pleased to announce SportsEvents Media Group, the leading sports event planner industry publication, has announced Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau as one of its 2015 Readers’ Choice Award winners.
Sports event professionals were asked to nominate destinations and sports venues that they believe display exemplary creativity and professionalism toward the groups they host. Nominations were received from readers throughout the year, and the top picks were selected based on results from an online voting system.
“SportsEvents readers came out in force to nominate and then to vote for their favorite sports events destination and the host organizations that represent them. Our team is proud to honor the nominees that received the most votes with 2015 Readers’ Choice Award,” said Kristen McIntosh, SportsEvents editor.
“It is clear, based on our readers’ experiences, that these award winners are willing to go above and beyond typical service levels to help sports event planners produce outstanding events that participants, their families and spectators will want to experience again and again. It is our privilege to announce their selection by sports event planners as among the best in the United States.”
Ann Hortman, GRCVB Rome Sports Commission Director says, “It’s a pleasure to work every day where you have the opportunity to build and cultivate relationships. We are so fortunate to work with local businesses and organizations in Rome who share our passion for providing Southern hospitality so we can attract great sporting events and economic growth for our community.”
A complete list of award winners will be featured in the January Issue of SportsEvents. The full list is currently available online at: http://sportseventsmagazine.com/2015-Readers-Choice
