FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Media Invited to Downtown Rome Welcome Center Ribbon Cutting & Opening on December 13

ROME, GA. — Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) invites the media to the official public ribbon cutting ceremony and opening of the Downtown Rome Welcome Center on Saturday, December 13. The ribbon cutting will be held at 10:30 a.m. and the Welcome Center will open at 11:00 a.m.

The Welcome Center is located at 300 W. 1st Street adjacent to the Town Green and urban riverfront. The center is the first completed 2013 SPLOST project and is made possible by community supported 2013 SPLOST funds.

The Welcome Center serves as an official visitor information center and is a satellite office of the Greater Rome Conventions & Visitors Bureau. For more information, visit www.RomeGeorgia.org or call 706-295-5576.
