FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Hotel packages now available for Georgia-focused live music event
ROME, GA. —The Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau (GRCVB) is now offering special weekend hotel packages in conjunction with the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation’s Georgia Guitar Explosion, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at 7:30 p.m.
The tribute to electric guitar and Georgia guitarists is a part of the VenueDog Concert Series, and will take place in Downtown Rome at the Historic DeSoto Theatre, 530 Broad St.
The Georgia Guitar Explosion hotel package includes a one-night stay on Friday, Nov. 7, and one general admission ticket to the Saturday evening concert. Additional tickets can be purchased for $28 each.
Packages start at $115.46 per night, all taxes included. Guests will choose accommodations from a selection of participating local hotels, based on availability. Additional nights are available for an additional cost.
The evening of live music will be hosted by Matt Davis of Rome’s 95.7 FM The Ridge and legendary blues guitarist Tinsley Ellis. Performing during the evening will be the AJ Ghent Band and the Glenn Phillips Band, as well as Ellis himself.
