FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
FanZONE celebration to precede NCCAA Victory Bowl
ROME, GA. — The Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau is inviting all ticket-holders for the NCCAA Victory Bowl football championship to a public street party prior to the game. The FanZONE will pump up attendees from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. outside the front gates of Historic Barron Stadium in Downtown Rome.
The 16th Annual NCCAA Victory Bowl is being played on Saturday, November 23 at 12:00 p.m. between Azusa Pacific University of California and Greenville College of Illinois. This is the first year that Rome-Floyd County and Shorter University will host the Victory Bowl, which will be held at Historic Barron Stadium through 2015.
The FanZONE will provide pre-game entertainment activities to the out-of-town visitors and local Georgians attending the game.
Local celebrity D.J. Denali will lead the party with music, getting attendees excited and ready to enter the stadium gates. Cheerleaders from both teams will be on site to pep the group and take pictures with fans in a goofy photo booth.
Local restaurant Kaleido-Sno will be the exclusive food vendor on hand, serving up New Orleans-style food and ice cones.
The FanZONE is sponsored by the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau. It was debuted last December at the 57th Annual NAIA Football National Championship.
More information is available at www.RomeEvents.org or by calling the Rome-Floyd Visitor Center at 800-444-1834. Tickets to the championship game will be available at the gate on game day.
