Rome International Film Festival

Selected as one of “20 film festivals worth the entry fee” by Moviemaker Magazine, The Rome International Film Festival (RIFF) is the premiere film event in Northwest Georgia held in November.

RIFF welcomes films and filmmakers from around the globe to share the art of independent film with regional audiences, to entertain and enlighten festival attendees, to provide filmmakers the opportunity for professional networking and development, and to encourage cultural tourism and film industry development in Rome, Georgia and the surrounding area.

Each festival features a full schedule of screenings, educational sessions and evening parties. All festival activities are held in Historic Downtown Rome; with great access to dining, shopping, attractions and lodging.

The Rome International Film Festival is a filmmaker-friendly festival that focuses on quality programming of all genres.  RIFF goes above and beyond to ensure visiting filmmakers and audiences have a great experience!
