2016 Public Tours

Where Romans Rest is a guided tour of Myrtle Hill Cemetery with grave hosts along the way. The path includes uneven pavement with steep slopes and stairs, no stroller access.  Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Tours last about 90 minutes and depart from Myrtle Hill Mausoleum.  (This event is not recommended for children under 12.)

The tour will include a stop at the new Meditation Garden at Myrtle Hill Cemetery where Landscape Artist, John Schulz will share the story behind the garden’s design.

Dates: Public Tours are offered Oct. 15, 2016

Location: Departs from Myrtle Hill Mausoleum at Myrtle Hill. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Parking: Park at the cemetery mausoleum parking lot on Branham Ave or across the street at the Kingfisher Trail Head.

Time: Tours last about 90 minutes.

Cost: $10/Adults, $5/Children  (Note: Due to the nature of this walking tour, all children should be closely supervised, not recommended for children under 12)

Tickets: Purchase online or in-person at the Last Stop Gift Shop & Visitor Center.

Cancellations: In the case of rain, tours will be cancelled and announced on this page.
