Rome Eats: Where to Find all the Thanksgiving Deals and Treats

Hey y’all, I’ve gone around Rome and sniffed out some of the sweetest and tastiest Thanksgiving deals around Rome for this month, and I think it’s only fair that I share it with you.

Doug’s Deli DowntownDoug’s will be cooking up some tasty thanksgiving style treats for you to buy next time you stop in. From cookies to larger treats to buy and add to your own family feast, you can’t go wrong with something from Doug’s. If you still haven’t joined their Supper Club, you definitely should! Not only do they offer some amazing dinners each night for a great price, they’ll also be making traditional thanksgiving style meals for those that want to save the cooking hassle for the haters. Now you can even get a variety of Thanksgiving Casseroles to bring home to the family!

Jamwich: Jamwich won’t necessarily be cooking up any specials, at least not yet. But since it is the season, you should head on over and grab one of their OG Orange Turkey sandwiches. This is the one that started it all, truly thanksgiving style with a hearty helping of turkey lathered with signature cranberry-orange jam.

Foundry Growler Station: Trying to find a perfect beer or wine to share with the family? Look no further, they have a huge selection of craft beer and wine that are perfect for pairing with your thanksgiving dinner.

Rome City Brewing Co.: RCBC is continuing the trend of brewing awesome beers and providing good times! Be on the lookout for two upcoming beer releases, including Cranmaw “Got Run Over by a Wheat Beer”, a wheat beer brewed with cranberries that’ll put in the right mood for the festivities. In addition, RCBC will also release another holiday seasonal, Crimmus Beer, a milk chocolate peppermint stout that’ll have you listening listening to Christmas music early (haters be damned). Be sure to grab a growler of these before they’re gone!

Harvest Moon CafeRome’s most recognized restaurant is your one stop shop for thanksgiving. They offer day-of catering as well as daily specials throughout the month. Follow them on Facebook to hear about lunch and dinner specials. Remember to check out Dark Side of the Moon for a great selection of craft beers and some choice seasonals.

Honeymoon BakeryHoneymoon is always churning out some of the best sweet treats around. They have brought back their delecatable gingersnap cookies, so get them before they’re gone. Follow Honeymoon on social media to be up to date on special edition treats throughout the weeks, these can include anything from mouth-watering pumpkin cheesecake to special cupcakes.
