The Pocket Recreation Area in northwest Georgia is named for the low-lying valley nestled between Horn and Mill Mountains, surrounded by steep ridges. Once home to Civilian Conservation Corps Camp F-16, the area now offers a peaceful retreat for campers. Visitors enjoy the beauty of blooming mountain laurel in the spring and vibrant foliage in the fall.
