A proud member of the Sara Hightower Regional Library System, the Rome-Floyd County Library serves Rome and surrounding communities with a wide range of resources and programs. Services include public computers and access to the Heritage Room, which features historical and genealogical databases focused on the Civil War, the Cherokee Nation, and Southern history.

The library also hosts rotating community art exhibits in its upstairs gallery and offers engaging programs for children year-round, such as Story Time, summer reading, and family movie events.
