Meditation Garden at Myrtle Hill Cemetery

The Meditation Garden at Myrtle Hill offers a peaceful space overlooking the river confluence. Designed by the late landscape artist John Schultz, the garden reflects the beauty of Rome’s seven hills and three rivers, with seven landscaped berms and winding pebble paths symbolizing each. Dedicated in 2016 by the Myrtle Hill–Oak Hill Memorial Association and the Rome Federated Garden Clubs, the garden is free and open to the public. It’s located near the lower entrance of Myrtle Hill Cemetery, just above the mausoleum on Branham Avenue, with parking available nearby.
