Family Morning: Generosity

Join us for a special Family Morning at the museum designed especially for our youngest visitors! In celebration of Berry College’s Annual day of Giving, this month’s theme is Generosity. Families are invited to explore hands-on activities that highlight the generosity of individuals who helped shape the history of The Martha Berry Museum and the Berry Schools.

Guests can:

• Write a thank-you note like Martha Berry and mail it onsite through our museum “post office.”

• Create paintings inspired by Mary Reynolds Morton, a major donor who helped fund the museum.

• Learn how The Old Mill works through a STEM activity inspired by Henry Ford’s support of its construction.

Guests may also enjoy a tour of the Oak Hill home designed specifically for young learners. Tours begin at 10:00am, 11:00am, and 12:00pm and are recommended for ages 6–12, though all are welcome. For tour pricing and reservation information, please visit the link above.
