Black Hole Symphony
In partnership with Multiverse Concert Series and The Museum of Science, Boston, the Rome Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to present this special concert premiere. Written by David Ibbett, composer in residence of the Center of Astrophysics at Harvard University, this immersive new work, has sonified the light of black hole galaxies as musical notes and chords, and woven them into a dramatic electro symphonic score.
A pre-show panel will feature a special conversation between the composer, physicists, Georgia-based scientists, and the conductor of the RSO.
