ARCHITECTURE OF ROME Student Art Show

In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, the Rome Area Heritage Foundation and Chiaha Arts Guild are proud to present “ARCHITECTURE OF ROME,” a Student Art Show hosted by Swift & Finch Coffee.

This month-long exhibit celebrates Historic Preservation Month through the eyes of Floyd County’s young artists.

The show features original student artwork inspired by 12 historic sites in Downtown Rome. Each participating school receives an art education grant from Rome Area Heritage Foundation and Chiaha Arts Guild.

Participating Schools:
• Darlington School
• Garden Lakes Elementary School
• Model Elementary School
• Model High School
• Model Middle School
• Pepperell High School
• West End Elementary School

This year’s show also features a special collection of work by local artists honoring the Floyd County Courthouse, which was damaged by fire on March 23, 2026.

Maps are available at Swift & Finch for exhibition guests wanting to experience the actual landmarks that inspired the original student art.

The exhibition is FREE to experience during regular business hours.

RAHF and Chiaha wish to thank Andrew Rayn Photography, Swift & Finch, Fast Printing & Signs, Nena Dake, and the Rome Area History Center for helping to make this exhibition possible.
