National Trail of Tears Site

Listed on the National Trail of Tears, the Cherokee Van Cabin stands in its original location on the Cave Spring town square. Built in 1810, it is the oldest documented structure in Cave Spring and has been carefully restored. The cabin is open daily for visitors.

Be sure to stop by the Cave Spring Welcome Center to view the restoration model and see a collection of local Cherokee artifacts.
