The As Time Goes By Garden, located on the eastern side of the Rome Clocktower, celebrates Rome’s changing seasons and honors Anne Culpepper—local historian, volunteer, and lifelong advocate for the city. The garden was designed by landscape artist, John Schulz, and features year-round blooms including camellias, roses, hydrangeas, gardenias, and dogwood trees. It offers a peaceful space that reflects both the passage of time and Anne’s lasting impact on the Rome community.
