About Us
The Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism is the official destination and sports marketing organization of Rome and Floyd County, Georgia. The mission of the tourism office is to strengthen the economic prosperity of the community through tourism development by attracting leisure travelers, conventions, meetings, groups, sports and events.
The Georgia’s Rome Welcome Center and Gift Shop offers two locations: Jackson Hill and Downtown Rome
The Jackson Hill Welcome Center is housed in a train station originally known as Reeves Station and formerly located in Gordon County. The 1901 building was moved to Rome and adapted for use as offices and the Rome-Floyd Welcome Center.
