The memorial plaza honors all firefighters, past and present, in recognition of their dedicated service to protecting our community.

A commemorative service is held here each year on September 11 to honor the lives lost and the heroes who served.

It is located behind Rome City Hall (601 Broad Street), at the corner of West Sixth Avenue and West First Street
