Rome City Auditorium

Opened on June 28, 1916, the Rome City Auditorium is a century-old treasure and the region’s largest theater of its era still in daily use. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983, it remains a cornerstone of Rome’s cultural scene.

Home to the Rome Symphony Orchestra — the oldest continuously operating symphony in the Southeast — the auditorium has welcomed legendary performers including William Jennings Bryan, John Philip Sousa, Loretta Lynn, Dean Martin and Burt Reynolds.
