If you’ve ever traveled anywhere outside the South you’re aware that we have the best seasons of just about anywhere in the United States. Our winters, typically mild and short, lead gently into our glorious spring. As the dogwoods and azaleas bloom, you catch the scent of a ribeye on the grill and all is right with the world.
As the summer temperatures start to soar, gardens reward us with fat tomatoes and cool salad greens, green beans, cucumbers, and succulent squash. Then as fast as condensation forms on a glass of sweet tea, summer fades into fall. Trips to the North Georgia mountains to look at the fall colors, college football, bourbon, and the heavenly smell of pork on a smoker lead us towards winter once again.
Like the seasons, our menu will change featuring seasonal ingredients and fresh recipes. If your favorite dish is gone from the menu, just wait a bit and like spring, it will be back around again. To everything turn, turn, turn, there is a season.
