DESCRIPTION:Cave Spring Coffin Races return!\nThe Cave Spring Coffin Races is becoming an annual, family-friendly Halloween tradition held in downtown Cave Spring. Teams of five—four pushers and one rider—compete in head-to-head timed heats, racing custom-built wheeled coffins for trophies, and bragging rights.\nGet ready for a spooky Saturday in downtown Cave Spring and a full day of fun featuring coffin races, carnival games, a costume contest, the Skeleton Fun Run, and the annual Downtown Halloween Parade. There’s something for every age, so come early, stay late.\n-Watch teams of five race their custom-built, human-powered coffins down the course, then head to the costume contest at The Lumberyard, 22B Broad St. Categories will be available for all ages, so everyone is welcome to participate.\n-Fall festival games follow at the same location. Admission is free.\n-Costumes also are encouraged for the 0.5K fun run through downtown for the whole family.\n-The grand finale will be the parade, full of kids, local businesses, community groups, classic vehicles and even four-legged friends showing off their Halloween spirit.\nInterested in entering a float, participating in the parade or sponsoring a carnival game?
