4th of July Weekend Events in Rome

Rome has a full weekend of activities planned to help you celebrate the entire holiday weekend! Here is a patriotic event round-up:

Cave Spring Liberty Day Celebration

Saturday, July 1

Spend the day in Cave Spring and participate in their day long Liberty Day Celebration. Enjoy a variety of family activities including, 5K run, Sip & Stroll, Independence Day Reenactment, Liberty Pageant, Concert and Fireworks!


Rome Clocktower Tour

Saturday,  July 1
Climb up the 104-foot clocktower to get one of the best views in Rome.
(Tickets are $10 benefiting the Rome Clocktower Restoration Fund)


Let Freedom Sing Tour

Saturday, July 1
Join Gaither Homecoming Artists, The Nelons & special guests, The Jordan Family Band for a musical tribute of Christian American Patriotism at the Rome City Auditorium. Get tickets


8th Annual Lindale Independence Day Celebration

Saturday, July 1
Bring the family to Lindale for a day of patriotic fun including parade, festival, and car show.


Rome Braves vs Bowling Green

Monday, July 3
What’s more American than a good ole game of baseball? Celebrate the Fourth of July weekend with a baseball game and enjoy the firework show after.


Patriotic Party in the Park

Tuesday, July 4th
Enjoy live music and fireworks at Ridge Ferry Park. Food trucks are set to serve a variety of treats and enjoy family fun games at the kids’ zone. Entry is free, parking is $5. (And in case you view the show outside the park, tune into Q102 to hear the simulcast of the fireworks show music.)


Save the Date – First Friday Concert

Friday, July 7
This year’s First Friday falls after July 4th, so mark you calendar! Get ready to dance and sing with Boys in the Band and Jerimiah Wheler. The fun starts at 7 pm on the Town Green. Vendors will be on-site, bring your chair for lawn seating.
