4th of July Weekend Events in Rome

Rome has a full weekend of activities planned to help you celebrate the entire holiday weekend! Here is an event round-up:

First Friday Concert

Friday, July 1
Get ready to dance and sing all your favorites with Live Exchange Party Band. The fun starts at 7 pm. Parking is available for free at the Fourth Avenue Parking Deck and Third Avenue Parking Deck.

 Colonial Crafts Weekend Workshops

Friday, July 1 – Sunday, July 3
Learn to make colonial crafts like basket weaving, leather, working, quilting, and more!

Liberty Day Celebration

Saturday, July 2

Spend the day in Cave Spring and participate in their day long Liberty Day Celebration. Enjoy a variety of family activities including, 5K run, Sip & Stroll, Independence Day Reenactment, Liberty Pageant, Concert and Fireworks!

Rome Clocktower Tour

Saturday,  July 2
Climb up the 104-foot clocktower to get one of the best views in Rome.
(Tickets are $10 benefiting the Rome Clocktower Restoration Fund)

Downtown History Tours: Places to Worship

Hop aboard the Roman Chariots for a guided tour of Rome’s historic houses of worship. Get an in-depth look at the history of the building, the beauty of the grounds, and the services offered by the church.

Sulzbacher Roman Holiday

Sunday, July 3
Climb aboard Rome’s 40-passenger excursion boat for the Rolling on the River Public Tour – All American Celebration.

Patriotic Party in the Park

Monday, July 4th
Enjoy live music and fireworks at Ridge Ferry Park. Food trucks are set to serve a variety of foods along with some family fun games and kids’ zone until the start of the show.

Rome Braves vs Asheville

Monday, July 4th
What’s more American than a good ole game of baseball? Celebrate the Fourth of July with a baseball game and enjoy the firework show after.
