This annual free event offers the best performances of Shakespeare theatre and is Georgia’s only free Shakespeare Festival! See performances of the “Tempest” and “All’s Well That Ends Well” on the Town Green. Performances are held every evening and Saturday is a family day with performances beginning at noon. The Coosa Valley Fair marks the beginning of fall and offers a week full of fun! Entertainment throughout the week includes Aquatic Arobatic Show, Jurassic Kingdom Show, and Bickerin’ Blacksmiths. Tuesday night from 5-6 pm is the grand opening special; $10 a carload (no trucks or vans). Get more details.

Fiddlin’ Fest Between the Rivers

Come fiddle between the rivers in historic downtown Rome with live entertainment stages and some of the best bluegrass music in the south! Discover family fun including, arts and crafts, interactive games, car show, sidewalk sales, food and drinks from local restaurants. Downtown Rome transforms into a huge street festival for a full day of fall fun.

Chili-Fest is open to the general public on Saturday, November 6 at 10 am. We invite everyone to come out and participate in the People’s Choice Award while following COVID protocols. Entry for the public is free but participating in the tastings requires a small fee.
