First Friday Free Concert Featuring Party At The Limit – July 2 – Town Green in Downtown Rome

Cave Spring Parade, Fireworks & Festival – July 3 – Rolater Park
Offering a full day of patriotic fun kicking off with a 9 am parade, followed by a car show, Miss Liberty Pageant, live music, arts & crafts and completing the celebrations with a fireworks show at 9 pm.
Rome History Tours – July 3 – Rome History Museum

Rome Clocktower Tours – July 3 – Rome Clocktower
For the best views of Rome, climb the 107 steps to the top of the tower; view a visual history of Rome in the mural gallery below. Watch the clock at night as it illuminates with festive colors for July 4th. Tickets are free for clocktower tour, reserve online.
Eco over Ego Food & Music Festival – July 3 – Coosa Valley Fair Grounds
Celebrate with food, music, fun, community and a good cause! Featuring a car show, bounce houses, face painting, games and of course – fireworks! General admission tickets: $20/adult; $30/children 6-12 yrs
Patriotic Party in the Park – July 4 – Ridge Ferry Park
Celebrate Independence Day in beautiful Ridge Ferry Park with free family games and live music culminating to a free fireworks show featuring 1,500 fireworks of all types, colors and sizes. Tune into Q102 for a simulcast of the patriotic music to time with the display. While entrance into the event is free, parking is $5 vehicle (card payment only); gates open at 3 p.m.; live music begins at 7 p.m. The show will be shot from the top of Jackson Hill and will be viewable from around Rome including along the levee and on both pedestrian bridges downtown.
Rolling on the River Tour- July 4 – Heritage Park
Board the Roman Holiday on the 4th of July for a fun river history cruise about Rome’s steamboats and social scenes on the river with Dennis Nordeman and Selena Tilly. Tickets: $10/person
