So you’re going to the Winter Art Market? Here’s a few tips to help you make the most of your time this weekend on Jackson Hill!

Zelma’s Famous Jams & Jellies
Arrive Early
Arriving early has plenty of perks, you beat the crowds and you can snag some of the best items before others, not mention you’ll have the most time to look through all the vendors and their wares, and still have so much time later in the day to do other things! The market opens up Saturday from 10am – 4pm and Sunday from 10am – 4pm.
Stop by Each of the Vendors – Outside and Inside
With over 60 vendors, it’s hard to pack everyone into the Civic Center, so there will be people outside. Each vendor has something different and it’s worth it to look at each one, you should definitely stop by local favorite, Nan Selman’s store outside! In addition to a wide variety of crafts being showcased, there are many prices for many of the products for kids, making it a great event for the whole family!
Bring Some Cash
While many vendors accept card payments, not all of them do, so to save a trip to the ATM, get cash before you arrive.

Be Sure to Grab a Ticket at the Front Door
Everyone loves Door Prizes! If your ticket gets called, you get a free item from one of the vendors at the market! Door prizes are announced hourly! Please remember to sign our guest book as well!
Come Hungry
Shopping and dining go together! The market features several food options including Speakcheesy, Sir Porkers BBQ and soup and sandwiches from Fairview! We also have treats to satisfy your sweet tooth from homemade cakes and pies to cake pops.
Stop by the Last Stop Gift Shop
While we do have more than 60 vendors and artists coming to the market, it’s worth checking out our Gift Shop as well because we have items you won’t find anywhere else that will make perfect gifts and stocking stuffers.
See You There!

Thank you for the very well done Rome newsletter… Unfortunately I cannot attend the WINTER ART MARKET and I wonder if I can reach Tom Canada to buy wood turned bowls at another location. I tried to google his name and he does seem not have a website or e-mail. I am very interested in shopping for wood turned bowls…
Many thanks and Happy Holidays! MariaGrazia :))
You can call the Last Stop Gift Shop at 706.295.5576 to see if you can get that information. They also carry some of his bowls in store.
How can I get vendor information for next year?
Thanks
