Looking for some fresh, locally grown produce to stock up on? Luckily in Georgia’s Rome, we have several growers offering fresh produce and goods. Please practice social distancing while visiting these markets.
Every Friday, starting June 5, Georgia’s Rome Welcome Center and Gift Shop offers fresh and locally grown goods through its “Rome Grown, Rome Made.” Come by and take the opportunity to buy fresh, healthy produce, while at the same time supporting your local community! The market features fresh produce, jellies, jams and flavored salts from Nan Selman. The market is open on Fridays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Map
The market opens for the season starting June 6 and runs through October. It is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and features locally grown produce, fresh cut flowers, organic produce, baked goods, canned goods, jellies, herbs and hand-made craft items. The market is held at the pavilion attached to the ECO Center. Map
