Downtown Rome’s Guided Tours offer unique insights into Rome’s storied past. Each downtown tour is unique where tour groups are led through Rome’s historic downtown to discover its history and beauty. This year, each tour will focus on a specific section of Downtown Rome!

April 6 – 100 Block (Cotton Block)

May 4 – 200 Block

June 1 – 300 Block

July 6 – 400 Block

August 3 – 500 Block

September 7 – 6th to 8th

October 5 – Haunted History

Dates: Public Tours are offered the first Saturday of the month, April – October.

Location: Departs from the Downtown Welcome Center at 300 West 1st Street, adjacent to the Town Green. The strolling tour follows Broad Street. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Time: Tours last about 90 minutes. Meet at 9:45 a.m., tours departs at 10 a.m. (Limit 15 people per tour)

Cost: $10/Adults, $5/Children 11 & Under (Note: Due to the nature of this walking tour, all children should be closely supervised.)

Tickets: Purchase online or in-person at the Last Stop Gift Shop & Visitor Center.

Cancellations: In the case of rain, tours will be cancelled and announced on this page. Ticket holders will need to call and rebook for a future tour: 706-295-5576.
