AdventHealth ECO Greenway

The AdventHealth ECO Greenway is Rome’s popular riverfront, paved, multi-purpose trail system that runs through historic Downtown Rome connecting dining and shopping to area attractions and parks. The City of Rome and Floyd County have plans already underway to expand the greenway to connect to AdventHealth Stadium and also add a leg to connect to Lindale.

Trail History
Rome’s rivers and surrounding train tracks once served as the main thoroughfare for transportation.  Each section of the trail is named for the history of the area.  Interpretive signs along the trail identify historic landmarks and share Rome’s history and cultural development.

Bike Access

The  AdventHealth ECO Greenway is paved and offers over 16 miles of trails making it a great trail for biking!

Coming Soon

The upcoming Mt. Berry Trail extension to AdventHealth Stadium will soon create a continuous 13-mile loop around Rome’s rivers (The section of the trail that is under construction is noted on the map above as a dashed green line). The loop should be completed by early 2023! Planning is also already underway for expansion of the ECO Greenway with construction of the Lindale Trail that will connect downtown Lindale to the Kingfisher Trail.
