The Christmas Spirit looked around, what lovely things she saw, the Winter Art Market she decided, was the perfect place to begin her journey through Rome.

Travel back in time,

When an academy opened its doors.
A long time tradition of decorating its tree,

Nothing in Rome boasts a vintage thrill like sitting inside this 1927 theatre while a theatrical production of Scrooge is performed right before your eyes. This weekend only!

A source of Roman pride throughout the years, the clocktower has always stood, atop a hill, standing still, ever bringing us closer to that special time of year. And when it chimes it is the people that stand still in awe, for despite passing time, our clocktower has remained.

How lovely art thou branches!
A long time tradition spanning decades, the Rome Christmas Tree stands tall in front of City Hall.

December 13th~

Take a ride with us to a time long ago in this original carriage used by Martha Berry herself. Make sure to bring your furs! What a marvelous welcome to one of the great homes of the south!

December 14th~

I’m dreaming of a vintage Christmas, just like the ones I use to know….

December 15th~

A castle fit for a queen. The Ford building has been a symbol of beauty and grace for nearly 100 years and the perfect setting for any elegant event. One can easily imagine great ladies and gentleman gracing the front lawn in the 20’s, their trains trailing behind them.

December 16th~

I’ll be home for Christmas… whether near home or traveling to far away this beautiful college chapel is a symbol of hope to all who see.

Sugar n’ spice n’ everything nice… Reminisce of Christmas’ past as you sit and enjoy the beauty of the season while savoring the smells and taste of delicious fresh baked delicacies.

December 18th~

Over land and sea, our military will always be, watching over thee, although separated by distance, in mind we are together at Christmastime! Thank you to the many women and men who have served in the past and those that continue to do so. Especially at Christmas when so many are not able to be at home, we hope you feel our gratitude.

There’s no place like Rome for the holidays….. For the holidays you can’t beat home sweet Rome.

The Christmas lights are sparkling all along Broad Street, beckoning you to come and see all the treasures only a town like Rome can offer for the holidays.

December 21st~

The sights and sounds of Christmas, calls to all whether young or old, to remember that time spent together could never be measured in gold….

Ice skating invites everyone to be a kid again and experience the joy of gliding, twirling and dancing on ice while breathing in the coolness of winter and excitement of Christmas!

Savannah is a Berry College Alumni who enjoys riding horses and vintage shopping. During her leisure time she can be found in a museum or reading a book. Her favorite genres are spy and mystery novels. She loves traveling to Rome’s historical locations and learning about its unique history.
