Valentine’s Events in Rome to Bring Your Partner To

Rome Community HeART Project

The Rome Area Council for the Arts (RACA) partnered with Redmond Regional Medical Center to bring a community art project to Rome for the month of February. Local concrete artist, Bill Thornton, created each sculpture (or HeART) as a hollow form covered with a skim of concrete. Using the medium of their choice, local artists have taken the HeARTs and truly created unique pieces of art, conveying a message of heart health awareness. See all the pieces next time you stroll Downtown throughout the month of February!
