Calling All Romans Interested in Becoming a Tour Guide

Posted August 23, 2017 by Kristi Kent in Uncategorized

Have you ever wanted to be a tour guide for Georgia’s Rome?

We are looking for tour guides who would like to host a variety of tours. Tours range from river cruise narration, step on guide for groups, walking tours for downtown, and guides for Myrtle Hill Cemetery.  These are public and private tours, in nature.  We conduct public tours monthly (first Saturday 10:30-11:30 am) for downtown.  At Myrtle Hill Cemetery, we offer tours mostly for school groups throughout the school year and our annual tour with grave hosts in October.  The river cruises are also throughout the year from March – November for schools and groups.

If you are  interested, come to our information session on Tuesday, August 29th at 5:30 p.m. at the Downtown Welcome Center on West Third Street across from the Town Green fountain.

Please let us know if you plan to attend the information session so we can have tour notes ready for you and we will answer any questions you may have as well as gauge your availability.

If you plan to attend the information session: Call 706-295-5576

Thank you in advance for your interest!
