Posted June 5, 2017 by Kristi Kent in Arts, Events, Uncategorized

If you want jewelry unlike any other, jewelry that shows off who you are,  well then the Rustic Bear is for you! Kaitlin Akvan, a native of Georgia, and alumni of Shorter University is the creator and co-owner of The Rustic Bear. It is a local business that creates personalized jewelry to fit any fashion need and provide the perfect gift for friends and family.

The beautiful handcrafted jewelry is catered to your style and personality. You can even customize it down to the chain. Just so you don’t feel limited on choices, the jewelry comes in various, sturdy metals and leathers as well as many different sizes and shapes.

And don’t think Kaitlin stops at making customized jewelry just for you, she can even create animal tags for your pets. Now your furbaby can have it’s very own personalized fashion just like you! Or if you are like me, you can have your very own keychain in the shape of your pet!

Names, shapes, logos, anniversaries, birthdays etc, are just some of the things Kaitlin can hand carve into the jewelry in minutes. It truly is a unique, personalized creation to keep forever. I personally love my heart shaped necklace with my anniversary engraved on it. Why not wear something more than just jewelry? Wear something that represents who you are!

Kaitlin started the Rustic Bear to share her love for handmade jewelry and to provide custom pieces at a lower price than other online shops offer. Shop her jewelry now at the Last Stop Gift Shop and find some of Kaitlin’s jewelry as well as many other unique, local items available!

Kaitlin has participated in both the winter and spring art market held at the Rome Visitor Center sponsored by the Last Stop Gift Shop. She will have a booth in the upcoming winter market December 2-3, 2017 10a.m-6p.m. The Last Stop Gift Shop is located at 402 Civic Center Drive, Rome, Georgia. Call today at 706.295.5576.
